Degale to Defend in Denmark

James DeGale is to put his European Super-Middleweight title on the line against experienced Italian Cristian Sanavia in Denmark on April 21. Degale has inactive since claiming the belt in October, and rumored promtional problems have meant its been difficult time for the Olympic gold medalist but he will be looking to get his career back on track with a victory in this fight.

Classy Kell Dismantles Hatton

Kell Brook underlined his world title credentials as he produced a dazzling display to claim a unanimous points decision over welterweight rival Matthew Hatton on Saturday night.
Billed as the ‘War of the Roses’, Hatton had been expected to provide Brook with a real test, but the Sheffield fighter turned on the style in front of his home fans at the Motorpoint Arena to emerge an emphatic victory.
Brook – who now has a perfect 27-0 professional record – dominated from the first bell with Hatton unable to make the kind of busy, aggressive start many had predicted.

Huge Fights This Weekend!

Two big fights this weekend! Kell Brook vs Matthew Hatton and then Sergio Martinez vs Matthew Macklin. We think Brook will box his way to points victory and although we would love to see Macklin come back with the belt his come forward style seems made for the hard hitting southpaw Martinez, so we predict a stoppage victory for Martinez.

Groves Out Of Title Defence

George Groves has pulled out of his British and commonwealth title defence against Kenny Anderson with an unspecified injury, the fight was due to take place on Friday at Wembley Arena. George will look to recover quickly as he has been made manditory to the WBO super middle weight belt currently held by Robert Stieglitz. Is a world title shot too soon for Groves or should he rearrange the defence against Anderson?
